How to Find and Search Foreclosures in Any Part of the Country.

1) Select a County your interested in.

   A) Google Clerk of Court ( County Name )

   B) Go to County Clerk website

   C) Find Foreclosure List

   D) Write down Defentant's Name, Case #, Total Due, and address

 

Search Property Information

    A) Google Property Appraiser ( County Name )

    B) Go to County Appraiser website

    C) Search Data Base by Name or Address (be sure Legal Describtion is Correct)

 

Search Mortgage History

     A) Go to Clerk of Court website

     B) Search for Official/Land Records

     C) Document Search using Defentants Name

     D) View & Link All Document's Associated to the Legal Desription

What to look for is any Mortgages, Lis Pendings, Liens that are still open.

Remember that the Priority of the Liens is important since you can get stuck with a Property

that has liens on it you could be Liable for.

 

Search Property Tax Record

      A) Google Tax Records ( County Name )

      B) Search Property and check if there are any taxes Due

 

Always view Properties prior to Auction Date ( if you have a Realtor on your team have him

check the MLS most properties are actively being sold or recently expired and the information

can be useful to you, and your Realtor may have access to view the property.
